After the "Lost Decade", nothing is the same when it comes to investing. This course will help you develop a practical, working knowledge of mutual fund investing post 2008. Learn how to construct appropriate mutual fund portfolios, including selecting funds, monitoring performance, allocating assets and rebalancing portfolios. During the course you'll also delve into the definition of mutual funds and how they are regulated, organized, governed, distributed, priced and taxed. You will learn how to analyze fund investment style, performance, statistics and expenses. We will also discuss current industry topics and trends, including passive vs. active investing, exchange traded funds (ETFs) and market timing.
