Software tools enable us to be more productive and efficient. Learn how to leverage Excel's powerful features for accounting and auditing. Explore the use of Excel as an audit and analysis tool and learn about selected features that help prepare accurate reports and workpapers. Use Excel to satisfy SAS 56 requirements and automate certain FASB pronouncements, even run fraud analyses such as the implementation of Benford's Law. This course will demonstrate many of the features in Excel 2007 for Windows, and all spreadsheets will be available for downloading prior to the class. If you would like to follow along in Excel with the instructor during the presentation, please bring your laptop. Laptops are NOT required, but optional.
