An Overview of IFRS with US GAAP Similarities and Differences

Even though the SEC has continued to delay the decision of adopting IFRS, it is important to gain an understanding of this set of accounting standards that 110 or more countries of the world have adopted for their publicly traded companies. We may not be adopting IFRS in the future, yet it has influenced the US standard setters and US companies that are involved in international operations. In one day, the course will review financial statements and the major areas of congruence and of differences, including any newly released standards/amendments.
